Star Trek: The Original Series

Archetypal characters like Dr. McCoy, Captain Kirk, and Mr. Spock help give Star Trek a lasting appeal. Evidence of this appeal lies in the fact that the three seasons in Star Trek: The Original Series led to the creation of over a dozen films and several additional television series!

Today, Star Trek has an Official Star Trek Fan Club and its own Official Fan Club Wiki. The show is on Facebook and Twitter, and there's actually a whole list of fan sites with the latest news about the original series and its many spinoffs.

These images offer insight into the characters from The Original Series that cannot be found any place else. For more of this type of insight, see the stories about Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy and Mr. Spock on ArtsyVisions.com.

Note: these images are based on the characters as they appear in Star Trek: The Original Series only. In particular, they do not take into account any of the other series, movies, or books.

Additionally, the profiles that form the basis of the images do not consider or any of the times the mind of a character is under control of aliens — as in the episodes The Cage and Plato's Stepchildren — or they are liberated from their normal inhibitions — as in the episodes The Naked Time and Amok Time.
